Fire Eskdale Road

We are appealing for information or any relevant footage after a vehicle sustained significant damage after being set alight in Hartlepool.

Our Fire Brigade colleagues contacted police shortly before 9.30pm last night, Monday 22nd December, reporting a Range Rover Sport had been set on fire on Eskdale Road.

We understand an unknown male in a white van went to the address and, using an accelerant which is believed to be petrol, set fire to the top of the vehicle, burning the car out.

Enquiries are underway and we would appeal for anyone with information or with any relevant doorbell, dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number.  Please quote ref 243885.
